My dad texted me about 23 minutes into the Bronco game Sunday and told me, “Don’t miss the Apple ad!!!” He was right… wow! What an amazing Christmas commercial. It’s titled, “Misunderstood.” CLICK HERE IF YOU DON’T SEE THE EMBEDDED VIDEO

When I first saw the commercial on TV, I thought, this is about being self-absorbed and its OK. Then BAM! It took a right turn. I kinda teared up. Of course I blamed it getting some dust in my eye 🙂
Great commercial. I plan to show it sometime when talking about perspective – judging before we see the whole picture.
Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas
I have a grinchy reputation around christmas time but i definitely liked that one!
Yes, my initial thoughts were about a teenager more absorbed in his phone than his what’s going on around him. It was a very pleasant surprise. But the reason it was a surprise is that he actually created something that was valuable to others. A lot of generational angst is the different things we place value on, but in this case the teenager created something that his parents/grandparents felt was valuable too.
I agree… and hope that commercial might spark initiative in young people to do something creative and constructive with technology. Kids want to make an impact, they often just don’t know how.
